My School!

these qre a few of the people at my school, the one with the black hair and has the red tie is Katy, the other one in red tie is Hannah and the girl in purple tie is Connie. we were watching the year 7 interhouse football (so interesting...) so i took.sone photos on my phone, quite fun in the end!

Sammy

My nans dog is called Sammy, he has cancer and this week me and my nan and grandad are going to build a bear to put sammys fur into a bear! My nan already has one but i need one as well because i was brought up with Sammy and life without him is unimaginable!  Have a look at these photos, this is sammy the other day!

Mummy's epic Yorkshires!

My mum made these epic Yorkshire puddings! They are absolutely huge, as you can see from the photos! She used two eggs and my grandad uses four, if anything hers come out bigger, strange! If you want to make massive Yorkshires like these ones, do your average Yorkshire recipe and add two, or three or four eggs to make them rise! Thanks for reading!

Pickled Onions!

Every year my mum makes pickled onions and this year, my nan helped her peel them. They both wore glasses so that their eyes didn't water as much and it was hilarious to watch! The pickled onions are ready now but can't be eaten till December! I don't like pickled onions but my family say that they are always very nice, especially my mum's ones. My mum also usually makes blackberry jam, but hasn't got round to it this year :-( i love her blackberry jam!  Oh well, maybe next year!

Pickle onion recipe - by Anji!

1) First peel the pickled onions

2) Put them into a bowl and soak in heavily salted water for 24 hours 

3) rinse thoroughly and put them in sterilised jars. Cover in pickling vinegar, ensure all onions are covered.

4) Screw the lid on tightly and store for two months +

That's Anji's pickled onion recipe!

Serving suggestions:

1) with cheese

2) with cold meat

3) With a sandwich and a packet of crisps!  

New hairstyle!

You are probably looking at this photo and thinking 'What the hell has she got in her hair?!?!' and incase you are thinking that, it's a carrier bag handle... Now you will definitely be thinking that i am mad but there is a moral to the madness - I washed my hair at my nan's and she dried it for me. we are going out tonight so we plaited my hair up and tied one side up with my hair band, unfortunately I only had one. My nan searched the whole house for another hair band but couldn't find one so we decided to tie it up with the plastic bag handle that she had in her draw ( i thought that too, why does she have plastic bag handles in her draw?). We eventually tied it in my hair and decided that it was fine because we were going to let it out when we went out. Who knows? Maybe one day plastic bag handle hairbands will be fashionable?

Nanny's makeover!

Nanny doing her puzzle!

This is my nan. The other day we went to Norwich and nanny got her hair done, she also went to joules and bought this epic dress, she has her hair like that at the moment while she is in her dressing gown and doing a puzzle after a busy day of endless rain and sitting in a cafe drinking lemonade (me) and tea (nanny). I managed to get loads of sweets though: a chuppa chups lolly, a rainbow belt - strawberry flavoured and strawberry hubba bubba - epic!   I actually had a really good day!

 

Poor Jazz!

Jazz was bitten by a dog at the MHH (middle Harling Heath)and he had a massive gash down his side! You can see from the photos how bad it was. He's stapled up and dressed in a cast, which I signed, that is fluorescent pink and then a thin green layer on top. Poor jazz can barely walk! I think part of the reason for that is that Jazz has never really liked coats - we got one with his name on last year and he refused to walk with it on so obviously he got very cold, but jazz is acting a bit like that now - its weird and you just want to cuddle him - but that will hurt him so it gets very frustrating! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Scouting for girls

Scouting for girls are absoloutely amazing. I have all their albums and these are some of their best songs!!! Summertime in the city is the most recent song from the most recent album The Light Between Us.  I love all their albums (Scouting for girls, Everybody wants To Be On TV + the light between us). We just bought a signed (!!!) album of theirs on play.com  so why don't you? There is probably still some left and if their isn't you can always buy the deluxe version!

GlitZ

I created  a perfume called GlitZ and I made an advert for it. I used the yellow roses in my garden and a few   of my So... perfumes. It was really fun to make it but my mum poured it down the sink... :-( Thanks for watching reading!!!!

Scouting for girls - the light between us

Scouting for girls released their new album a few months ago but me a nd my mum only just discovered it a few days ago. my favourite song on the album is snakes and ladders. Take a look at the video above to see why i like it so much!
